Terms of Service

1. Scope

These Terms govern the use of hosen.tokyo (the "Site"), operated by hosen ("we" only as a legal designation; the brand carries no first-person voice). The Terms apply to every visitor and customer.

2. Products and pricing

1. Products sold on the Site are garments printed with a seal-derived design.
2. Displayed prices apply at the time of order. The currency (JPY, USD, EUR) is selected based on the chosen language and shipping destination.
3. Shipping and import duties are not included in the displayed price. Shipping is shown at checkout. Import duties may apply at the destination country and are paid by the recipient.

3. Orders and contract

1. A contract is formed when payment is confirmed at the end of the checkout flow.
2. Orders may be cancelled for stock, print-quality, shipping-restriction, or similar reasons, in which case any payment is refunded in full.

4. Payment

Payment is processed through Stripe, Inc. Card details are handled by Stripe and never reach our servers.

6. Refunds and exchanges

7. Intellectual property

The seals, photographs, text, and other materials on the Site are owned by hosen or by the underlying rights holders. They may not be reproduced, modified, or redistributed without permission.

8. Prohibited conduct

1. Interfering with the Site, operations, or third-party rights.
2. Providing false information.
3. Other conduct deemed inappropriate.

9. Disclaimer

Reasonable care is taken with the information on the Site; completeness and currency are not guaranteed.

10. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan. The Tokyo District Court has exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from these Terms.
