Origin
From the Record of Linji (Linji Lu), the discourses of the Tang-dynasty master Linji Yixuan: "Be master wherever you are, and every place you stand is true."
Seal
Cut by hand in Tokyo by the artist. The angle of the blade and the depth of the stroke decide where the ink bleeds and where it holds. No imprint repeats.
